A Lucky Day

Hi there! Here I’m coming after the long break… With new, fresh energy, plans, ambitions and very clear aim – the end of studies in June 2018! During this academic year I’m not going to write about my receptionist job revelations – because I’m not receptionist anymore. Now I work in office. For the first time in my life I can sit down with calm, drink coffee and do my best, in most cases, without a hurry. What is more, this is a spanish company so I work with the language I love. It gives me the feeling of satisfaction. Nevertheless, there’s also a lot of funny situations to be told. Well, I’ve got my own boss, it is the first funny fact… I will tell you more about that soon J There is also an other important thing that happened in my life I want to share… It could be interesting for you and can provoke some smiles on your faces! What do you think about Friday 13 th ? For me, this day was absolutely fantastic, even though I had to go to dentist. I spent this day perfect...

Nightmares

Hi… Today I would like to write about something that is on my mind… I think that questioning "Have you ever had a nightmare?" is unnecesary. I imagine almost each of us had at least one. And I had a lot. But recently something about my nightmares has changed. I don’t dream anymore that I’m killed by someone or somebody’s following me, or somebody is going to kill me, or I’m going to kill somebody, or I’m about to fall down, as I used to… No. It was quite good comparing with dreams I’ve dreamed recently. Recently everything in my dreams is normal. Normal people without suspicious intentions, normal area, neighbourhood – EVERYTHING. The most strange are the things I do. These things are not about killing, falling down, I repeat. In this dreams I’m doing things that I regret so badly that I have to wake up and convince myself that it was just a dream and I didn’t anything (well, it doesn't mean that killing somebody is not as bad, but it is very abstract; the realism ...

The Nothing Box

Have you ever heard about this amazing idea of the nothing box?! It is about men and it always makes me happy :D It is easy: do you know what men are thinking about when they have nothing to do at the concrete moment? NOTHING. Yes. They are able to not think. It is called “The Nothing Box”. It is a place in their brains which is totally white, without any footprint of any thought. I am a real woman and for me it is impossible just don’t have thoughts somewhere In my mind. No matter if I’m lying on the sofa and having the rest, listening to music, reading a book, watching a movie… I’ve got always thoughts, something on my mind. Quoteing Mark Gungor, if woman came into the nothing box, she would immediately put flowers somewhere on the floor, hang on lovely net curtains, turn on a veeery beautiful song, fulfill the bookshelf with romantic novels… and the essence of the nothing box is… its emptiness J It is very charming way to describe how do men’s brains work, isn’t it? J W...

Trying to live with passion

I think passion is essential in our life. The perfect example is my mum. Some months ago she started to paint crystals. She paints everything: glasses, vases, jars, bottles…almost everything made with crystal. She also decorates candles with decoupage methods she had found somewhere on the internet. And I can admit her behaviour has changed recently. She’s more happy, more creative, more calm…but the most important: the level of stress has reduced! During last six months she has been going through a lot of problems at work. And now she copes with them decidedly better. It is like her other world where she can escape always to have a great rest and free her mind  J I think everyone needs this kind of “space”, just for yourself. The space that no one sees, sometimes even no one understands… I realized that I don’t have my own. Some years ago I loved writing. Writing everything: poems, letters, stories, diary… As I started to study and work, I don’t have time for that. And I als...

Vlogs again!

Today I want to share with you some Polish vlogs, generally about languages. The first channel is “Po Cudzemu” where the lady Arlena Witt is talking about English. I’m still not sure if I like her, something in the way she talks winds me up, but it does not mean that her movies are not merits-related ;) I think that the content is good and, what is more, she encourages people to use English. She also gives a lot of examples from films, this is also quite interesting. The other channel is “Mówiąc Inaczej” created by Paulina Mikuła. She’s talking about her great passions: Polish language and journalism. She’s very creative woman. To my surprise, she’s in love with Warsaw so she lives there (I like big cities but Warsaw is too… I don’t know, just not for me). In each chapter she gives advices how to speak polish correctly in very funny way. As far as I know, a lot of people or even parents with their children watch her channel to get some knowledge about polish. Good job. I think t...

Easter

Did you realize plans during this Easter? I had a lot!!!! As always when I come back home, though :) I love Easter even more than Christmas :) Not because of gifts (we don’t buy them for Easter in my family), just because of the importance of this feast and the time of the year (spring is the best season!). I have a lot of power in life generally (its level reduces a little bit just when I’m entering university…) so I also make a lot of plans. Almost all of them, fortunately, are realized. This time I wished to spend time with my family and friends, cook, bake, read two books and do jogging with my mum in the nearest park :) And what? I did it!!!!! J The satisfaction is irreplaceable :)

I don’t like facebook

I suppose some of you would ask me right now if I am insane ;) Well, I am not. Until my 14 th birthday I was writing letters to my friends from holidays. Now I am 24 and I’m still sending postcards. Since my 10 th birthday I have been writing a diary (in notebook, not on computer) and I’m doing it until now. I love the feeling of writing. I love writing to other people. Showing them that they’re important and I’ve got time for them. I love looking at people and listening them. I really like to help some of them (sometimes it is good just to listen or give some advices or have a bottle of wine together ;) ). I cannot say facebook is totally unnecessary. We use it to communicate at university or work. It make it easier and faster. But when it’s about closer relations, it is not a good idea to use just facebook… relations with friends or family shouldn’t be easier and faster… Am I right? I can observe changes. I used to have better contact with my old friend from Warsaw that I...
