What kind of risk entails working as receptionist?

The risk is inscribed in all kind of jobs. What about the reception desk? Is there anything dangerous?

Here is my list:

1)      Guest. Guest is the first person who may kill you if the breakfast is not tasty or if the coffee is not as black as we (have never) promised. He or she may kill you if the internet doesn’t work. He or she may kill you even because of the rainy day, just because you’re nothing more than small receptionist who is there to give the key to the room and ensure the peace on the whole world.

2)      You. You can be dangerous for yourself, especially while opening the bottle of wine to make the order and thinking about all the guests waiting in the queue. It’s just an example. One small example.

3)      Hotel’s manager. Yes. There is high possibility of being killed by your manager, especially when you’ve already made a huge mistake on the important invoice (again). Or when you actually don’t remember if the guest has already paid for the room.

4)      … ?

As all of you can see, the list is short. The only risk is caused by other people or just by you.
