Is hotel a good place to spend Christmas there?
I know it's already after Christmas... but recently I've started to wonder if hotel is a good place to spend Christmas. Why are there a lot of people traveling during Christmas time, why are they leaving their cosy houses for this beautiful time and go where the weather is hot? Or move to other city? Is it because of the loneliness? What about people who are leving their families for Christmas? I've heard about this, even in my family... I know for sure that there is a lot of reasons of traveling instead of preparing Christmas tree or buying gifts. At hotels there are christmas trees also. And the rest of that stuff. Nevertheless, there's no this specific, magical atmosphere... even if receptionists are kind and nice, and professional... I've happily spent my Christmas at home with my family. I cooked, cleaned, helped my mother, sang carols... And I was possibly the happiest no-traveling peson on the world :)
