Which shift is better: the morning one, the afternoon one or during the night?

Maybe I should ask: which one is the longest. The morning shift is difficult because you have to wake up early, get dressed, put on some make-up and put on the fifth smile: “receptionist smile”. During the morning shift you have to be aware if all of guests leaving have paid for the staying. It may cause some difficulties, especially when you are totally into different task and unexpectedly one guest comes to the reception, throwes the key murmuring something like “thank you, goodbye” and goes out in less than 30 second. Then you immediately run to the reception desk to the computer to see who was he or she and if the staying is paid. Everything’s okay? Lucky you. Afternoon shift means coming guests. I like to welcome them in our hotel, explain rules and exchange smiles (more natural than the smile from the morning shift). It is a little bit uncomfortable when there are 16 or more coming guests and you have to study something to the exam next day. There’s no time for other things
